Thanks for the info. With w2k it is a little different. You can't just put in another pc, it
installs only the motherboard and cpu info of what you have it in right now, and can't be moved.
It how ever can be changed. You can before removing the HD, remove all install components of the
motherboard and cpu and then shutdown. When You install the HD in the new PC it should ask for
the CD or drivers for the new PC. That is the only way I have found to make it work.

Now, with the linux side. Yes, I do need to have a boot floppy after the install of w2k. I will
have to restore GRUB as the boot loader.
