I think a lot of the speculation is based on the rash assumption that
Intel-Mac architecture = Intel-PC architecture. If that were the case,
Apple would effectively be giving away it's hardware business to the PC
hardware makers. I've not seen any indication of that yet. Having a
x86 at it's heart doesn't necessarily make a machine a PC.
