I did all my set-up stuff under windos...got
everything working under that first...Then, when I
run Linux I make sure the NIC uses DHCP...
Works for me so far....
Setting it up *from scratch* would require a more
experienced answer...:)
This should be interesting though as I've been
wondering this myself...
Everywhere I read on ADSL, they all seem to want
to use PPPoE alone or PPPoE and DHCP...
I haven't had to mess with PPPoE so far but tht
may be because I originally logged on under windos..
