Now *that * is going to come into play at some
point I'm sure! Thanbks for looking that up!

That's one of those things a newbie would never
know about I guess unless they stumbled on it
drudging through man pages.....

Mandrake had loads of Howto's, but it seem as
though there was anything remotely describing the
above...I mean what good is tunneling (I was on
Road Runner) if you can't get the system to
configure the NIC in the first place!...LOL

Actually that wasn't even from the man pages was
it? X11 docs?

Hmm. I think I will go for that repartition again
with a diffent distro...learn by doing ...

Thanks!

I have a P166 over there...sitting....maybe I can
slap one ofthose micro-linux's on there..I saw one
had Links for a browser and another had
w3m...Puppy or Monkey or something...muLinux?

Anyway, I tend tobe a bit nostalgic about the old
PCs...I guess they're calling it atticware
now...LOL..I saw someone had actually gotten Damn
Small to run on a 486/33sx! Sounds like fun..

They actually had a atticware install-a-thon where
they would hget the sys upand running and online
nd email people from there....sounds likeone
ofthose things that might be fun ONCE.:)
