I would check Freshmeat.net and try a search through it for what you are
looking for.
Freshmeat has alot of neat stuff, esp for SysAdmin and Suite packages.

I looked at Gnucash, and it does lack some of the features that he
will need. Like payroll taxes for instance. I wasn't aware that Appgen
was gone. Thanks for the heads up on that.
