Any online backup will not save you from intentional deletion. Had they
actually suffered a hardware failure, they would have been fine. The
RAID functioned as designed and configured.
Now, relying on online backups is just plain stupid. Intrusions happen.
Accidents happen. Fire or other natural disasters happen.
Unfortunatly, not everyone has the resources to do it properly. Shame.
