Is there a petition to keep him *off* the board? I think the last thing
we need is another guy who favors a *specific* type of open source
license over all others for FSF-like ideological reasons on the OSI
board. Next thing you know, he'll be arguing for decertifying the BSD
license.
Bruce Perens has done a lot of good for open source software. I don't
think this would be the right place for him to do more good, judging by
what I know of him.
