That sucks, most other companies don't support or even care about
Linux anyways. Does anyone know other good laptop manufacturers that
acknowledge Linux? I know personally my wife has an HP laptop and I do
not like it at all. They did not send the Windows Cd's with it and it
had a problem. She wants to stay on windows and they wanted me to pay
for the Cd's although I already paid for the license to use it. That
makes me not favor HP very much although I know they donated a couple
of servers for Linux kernel development. I haven't had any problems
with about 3 different Thinkpads I installed Linux on, except for the
cursor drifting, but I think they do that no matter what.
