Changing the configuration of the Junk Mail Filter on this thing is
easier said than done. It is one of those "Bayesian" filters that
requires that it be "trained." Other than training you can turn it on or
off but that's about it. Plus, if I read the Help info correctly, it
looks like there is a bug in it- once my message filters have moved the
incoming mail from "Inbox" to "flalug" the Junk filtering should NOT
touch it ... but it does. I guess I'll play around with it a little more
... if anyone really understands how one of these things works and can
point me to more info that would be helpful.
As far as the other point, I wasn't suggesting an ironclad rule or
micromanagement. I was saying that I think (personal opinion) that it
makes it easier for the reader, and therefore more courteous, to include
more than just a bare link. But you are right, in the end it is up to
the person doing the posting. So be it!
