Now /that/ is getting closer to what is required for home use. Still a good
bit of overkill for that purpose though.
Somebody needs to come up with a really simple package for home users that
don't have true domain names. And be simple to set up like Freesco. A 6
year old could configure a Freesco router with little or no help.
Something small and light... like maybe Damn Small Linux with a simple mail
server, AV, and spam filtering. I think that it would have a decent target
audience with the Joe Sixpack on broadband type that just wants to protect
the family pc's from being ravaged by whatever the email worm of the week
is. Or having to explain to the kids what the "enlarge yourself" and
"v14gra" emails are about.
