Just be glad that you aren't working with a Thinkpad using the CS4232 sound
card. With different distros, it either gets detected and works perfectly, or
it becomes a long battle to get it working at all. Then you find that some
users can get it to work with ALSA but not OSS, and others can only get it to
work with OSS and not ALSA.
