That's right! I forgot about that!

Yeah...I remember back...was it DOS 5.0
days...probably earlier than that....but tht's the
time I remember.....IBM was the behemoth...with
all their high fallootin' proprietary architecture
  and whatnot....Os/2....

MS was really successful and playing the little
guy in that round....

Today they act (what seems to me) worse than IBM
was then!

Of course today IBM has embraced linux and Java
somewhat...between the two I'd say they are in the
  better position...

Anybody checked out the new Sun desktop? In a sea
of distros I guess it's not much to get excited
about...but when I think of potential...I think
that scares the hell outta MS..LOL

The Java crowd, SUN, riding on tp of
Linux...complete compatibility with MS
Office..$49.00......v.s what just for XP? I herd
somewhere, unless it was a viscious rumor (those
are the best...LOL) tht they've got MS already
talking about major price slashes...I'm sure
they'll time it (press) to help cover up their new
intrusion rights....

Hopefully SUN will be floating out a ver3 or 4 by
then...a little more fine tuned....

I guess I'd just like to see Balmer or Palmer or
whatever his name is ...take a major hit...LOL

Chris
