Ahhhh, I see what you mean now....between the
other explanation and this...

I'm getting the feeling it will be all three...
It's like picking out tools for a tool belt...:)
For instance, now I have my JDBC export the
selected fields in csv...then run a search and
replace util on it. Then save it to tab delimited
and have PHP parse the content into html...
It works fairly well, but I wish i could automate
the entire process...:) Sounds like Perl would be
in line for that aspect of the process...awk could
do search and replace correct? And of course Ican
just move my Java db over to Linux after I set up
a jvm

Yeah, that's about the same thing...who can get
the job done with their tool of choice....
As the C++ guy was saying..nobdy heshowed his
codew to liked the fact he didn't comment it to
death..and slapped the "sloppy" label on it and
"lazy" too...
Rhetorically he asked, does the program get the
job done? Of course the answer was yes.
Then he asked if it couldbe better...again of
course..it can always be better....then he took
off on ASM(?)and minimalism...:)
He ended the article with advice for
newbies..don't worry about optimization right
now..get the job done first...LOL
I thought I was fortunate to have run across that
in th beginning of the adventure...<shrug>
