Maybe. I forget where I've run across it, maybe SSHing from Windows.
Somehow I don't think it's a problem with Solaris in particular, any more
than with AIX or BSD or Irix, but Solaris sticks in my mind (probably
because it is my second-most-commonly-used Unixy OS). I vote for odd
termcap settings flummoxing vim and/or the SSH implementation I was using.
