That seems to be my impression of it so
far.....that it's not inhibited in any way...I can
still get under the hood soto speak and make it
into or do whatever I want it to do....
But for some reason, my approaching Linux through
a GUI like K or Gnome seemed to confuse me more
that comming at it from the command-line. It
"makes" sense" to me from the command line whereas
I find the GUI confusing...especially as it seems
every distros GUI to the same files is different.
Ok, now I'llask my real question that's bugging me
(I can't locate an answer to)...
I'd like to think that shell scripting equates or
is the unix/linux version of DOS batch files?
Is that on target?
