<<observes signs of life>>
Hi.
My name is Chris. And I'm...a windows addict.
(Hi Chris!)
I was about to post saying ya'll are making it
hard to lurk...:)
I never thought of using Linux before until I read
this artile -
http://www.strangehorizons.com/2004/20040405/badger.shtml
J/k
I liked it.
Anyway, my experience with Linux so far has been
about 320 hours of wrestling with Mandrake on Road
Runner before giving up....if I ever see another
eth0 and eth1....grrrrr.
So, while I had it set up in dual boot I thought
I'd look around in there....click
click...completely lost, no clue...nomatter how
many MAN pages I read....bah. Uninstall...whatever
happened to good ole DOS?
One day I ran across the smallest of
distros...University Linux. -

Hmmmm. I don't have to repartition my drive just
to check it out? ok, I'm game. Guess this means I
have t drag that very old 486 outta the closet and
fire it up....
All commandline? Great! Just like DOS...
I run throught the tutorials...Hey, all these
commands....the seem really familiar, although
it's been a while...
I'm hooked...:)
So, my fisrt question is...Do you think tackling a
cluster would be biting off too much at this point?
