So I've got a bunch of libraries (.so files), that "file" says are:
ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), not stripped
I know executables can be stripped, and that generally makes them smaller
with no ill effects if you don't plan to use a debugger on them (I do it
often). Can libraries also be stripped with the same caveats?
