JOB DESCRIPTION:
Senior level systems administrator for UNIX and LINUX production and
development environments consisting of Sun Microsystems, and Hewlett
Packard servers/clients spanning many diverse business areas across the
Citigroup enterprise.
OPPORTUNITY:
Responsibilities include capacity planning, system design, planning and
implementation, hardware, OS, network and application level
troubleshooting, domain administration, scripting, system and
network-level performance monitoring/tuning.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Required skills include: Very strong knowledge of the Sun Microsystems and
HP hardware product lines including the Sun Microsystems Sunfire line,
Solaris operating systems including 2.6 and 2.8, NIS+, NFS, Veritas Volume
Manager and NetBackup.
NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
