And FTP, POP3 and SMTP. Every service I can think of that uses TCP.
If you know of others to try (say, a DNS query that's guaranteed to
return a lot of data), I'll try that. I don't know any remote SSH
servers or I'd try that (I don't need to log in).

I don't have any evidence that routing works OK for TCP yet. I
suspect it does; VMware on that machine works, although it uses
Windows' TCP stack.

It's not. It's INND (really suck), fetchmail, opera, lynx, mozilla,
pine, and more. I can't think of a single TCP-based program that
works to the internet. Stuff works fine on the LAN.
