Hi,
Has anyone setup sendmail in Redhat v3 for clients the will just "forward" all
local email to a unix mail hub. I do not want to run the sendmail daemon if I
don't have to, and if I do is there a way to disable the "listening" on port 25
when the sendmail daemon runs. I can get mail to forward if the client sendmail
daemon runs but that enables the local system to also receive mail, that's what
I'm trying to avoid. If there's a way to disable listening so no mail is
received that might work. The RH sendmail version is 8.12.10. The mail hub is
unix (hp-ux).
Sure would appreciate any experienced Linux sendmail help.
Dave
