If someone knowlingly and willfully uses a service purchased by someone else
without the latter person's permission, it would be a theft of services. It
is a criminal offense, probably a misdemeanor. I do not know the statute,
but it is definitely a theft under common law, which is in force here lacking
a statute. An infringer could also be civilly prosecuted in this situation.
