Last night (11/09/2003), I finally had to reboot my co-located Linux server
and found it has been running for... (6) SIX years (1536 days) w/o any
faults. There were no power issues, backup generators worked fine, etc. I
was shocked to see my server (an old dual P2 450) was still going strong,
esp being part of a 1st generation Beowulf cluster I designed many years
ago. Linux running... Slackware.
Anyone here run a server, locally or co-located, and what is your
best/record uptime?
