I have mentioned before on the list that I would like to have a Linux Resource
page on our website. This would be an ongoing project that would include
links to linux distributions, open source applications, proprietary
applications, how-tos, linux news, and other categories. I would like any
list members interested to volunteer some time to put together a basic list,
which will grow over time. I think we should make it neat and friendly-
looking, like the rest of our website. That is going to be the subject of our
next meeting.
I do have quite a bit of stuff to raffle off: some tee-shirts, a copy of
codeweavers ms office plug-in, Linux Journal archive cds, rav anti-virus for
linux, and also freestuff such as copies of Linux Journal, IBM developers
kits, Xandros discount coupons, and some buttons.
So, it looks like it will be on a Thursday. Let me know if you are going to
be there so I can reserve the room.
