McBride and his henchmen seriously chose the wrong war:
IBM will steamroll them on the legal front, but what is far more insidious to
them is that Darl has declared war on Us, the free software community. We
work by dedication and cooperation. We have ceased to cooperate with them
and will eventually code them out of compatibility. By the time IBM's
lawsuits are prosecuted, SCO will have serious security and performance bugs
all the way down to the kernel level. They will lose cash in court, but
worse, lose customers and market share. They have taken a dry dive and it
is too late to turn back. SCO is already dead.
